Rental Policies
Please review our rental policies below to ensure a harmonious stay at Chalet du Hibou Voyageur. Kindly read all our policies carefully before booking, to understand our check-in/check-out procedures, our cancellation policies, and the rules regarding parties and events. These cover reservation procedures, arrival and departure times, as well as the house rules to help you make the most of your stay in Stoneham.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, and check-out must be completed before 11:00 AM. The self-check-in process will be provided with precise instructions 24 hours prior to your arrival date. Please inform us if you would like to arrive outside these hours for special arrangements.
Occupancy Rules
The chalet accommodates a maximum of 10 guests. The sleeping capacity includes 8 people in bedrooms: 2 double rooms and one quadruple room. The living room can also host 2 people on a sofa bed. The dining table seats 8 people but can accommodate two more, though it will be a bit tight. There are enough chairs for 10 guests.
Gatherings, Parties, and Events
No parties or events are permitted after 11 PM. Please respect the maximum capacity of 10 people. Also, please treat our home, le Chalet du Hibou Voyageur, with great respect as if it were your own. Be mindful of the neighbours around you, as this is a family area.
Security Deposit
A security deposit of $500 is required upon arrival and will be refunded after inspection, provided no damages have occurred. This amount can be paid via Interac e-Transfer or pre-authorization on a credit card.
Pet Policy
We allow dogs with an extra cleaning fee of $250. Your dog can be free on the property if it stays there, but please note that the area is not fenced, and some animals (neighbours’ dogs and chickens) may venture into it. We have decided not to accept cats to keep our furniture intact. We are open to other pets; contact us to discuss 🙂
Cleaning Policy
Guests are responsible for leaving the chalet in good condition. A $250 cleaning fee applies to all group bookings to ensure cleanliness and comfort. We thank you in advance for taking good care of the property during your stay and leaving it clean and in good condition. Failure to do so may result in additional cleaning charges.
